The biggest party ever

On Saturday evening we held a birthday party for Jessica. 5 years old. Actually her birthday was last Monday, and we went for a nice dinner at Dairy Hut (see here). But a party needed to be at the weekend, not on a school day, so Saturday it was. We went for major shopping on Friday night, then spent Saturday morning preparing food, drinks, garden etc.. ready for the onslaught!

We had invited a fair few people, thinking some might not make it, but they all came, which was nice. Everyone loves Jessica! In all there were about 45 people there, of whom about 15 were kids, maybe more. It was hard to keep count.

A splendid time was guaranteed for all. I enjoyed having lots of people at our place, though I think once or twice a year is enough!
