Holiday in Chumphon

Well, Mam and the kids went to Chumphon already last month, but we decided to go again for a few days last week before Jessica went back to school. I have had 2 weeks holiday (albeit still answering emails for work using a new laptop) - just a few more days to go. It was also Mams son's birthday. Eng is now 11 years old. He was only 5 when I first met him. He still lives with the family in Chumphon. We said many times he could come here, but it never happened.

We had a relaxing 4 days. Mam's dad has been playing with the new house, adding a little seating/hammock area by the river, a dock for his little boat, and one of the photos below shows him at work making a little roof for a pump that pumps river water for watering the garden. There was lots of family around. Both Mam's sisters were there too (Ed and Ann). Weather was variable, rained at some point every day, rather like Phuket at this time of year. Still hot weather though..thankfully they have added aircon to one of the bedrooms (the one we slept in).
