Around The House

Last month was a busy one around the house. With the children growing up and now both at school, we decided they needed "new" bedrooms. Until now they have shared one room that connects to ours, and we have had a 3rd room as a spare bedroom. We had to buy 2 single beds, along with sheets, mattresses etc... and we needed another wardrobe, plus we wanted to paint the rooms - you know, pink for Jessica, blue for John. We did get some help - a couple of local labourers (actually Burmese) who did all the work and built a wall of glass bricks in the bathroom (we've had enough of shower curtains. Labour cost only about 20 pounds for 2 full days work.

Jessica's Pink Room - She was sick on Friday 16th May - John came to see how she was doing when he came back from school.

Mam in the kitchen. We have plans to build a much bigger kitchen.. one day.

Just realised there's no photo of John's Blue Room. Oh well, take it from me, it's very blue indeed. Bluer than the Blue Stone of Galveston.
