Another day, another party

We do seem to have a lot of parties to attend! Aside from organising 2 mammoth birthday parties for Jessica and John (around 60 people came for Jessica's 7th and John's 3rd), it sometimes seems like a party every week - kids parties being most common. A kids party here is not like back 'ome. When I was a kid, a few school friends would come round, we'd eat fish fingers, have a cake and some games, and their mummy's and daddy's would take them home to bed. Here it's not just a kids party. There's booze for the adults, loads of food, and the parents don't drop their kids off, the party is for everyone!

We went to a kids party in Patong recently. Birthday for Amy (4th, I think). Her dad is English. Their house is on the hillside overlooking Patong. About 50m away is a landslide - see photo on the weather blog. Loads of kids there and some adults to have a beer with. Photos of our kids and others below.

There was a "professional" kids entertainer

Jessica giving more lip to the entertainer. "Whaddya mean, that's all?", she whined.
