Family on January 1st

After a late night on New Years Eve (no surprises there!) we took the whole family to one of our favourite little quiet restaurants, which is located up a mangrove creek on the east coast of Phuket - another world compared to the tourist beaches. It's a muslim restaurant and a sign on the entrance proclaims "No Alcohol". Also, don't try ordering any dishes made from pork here. One thing at least that Muslims and Jews have in common!

Weather should be nice and sunny at this time of year but we had a heavy downpour while we ate. Soon cleared up again, though.
